I wait for winter
Seemingly hopeless the thought of us
Undoing what we've learned
And being taken back again
Witness the calm before the storm
You thought that you had seen it all
I remember when a push was all it takes to rewind
To the day that we forgot, let drift away
Put what's left of me
Into endless sleep
Find peace in silence
And reignite
Leave me here to dream
In this endless sleep
Find retribution
And make things right
With breaching the surface
Comes a responsibility
To realise your purpose
Endeavour to find your reality
We're wide awake this time
And we embrace this new clear mind
Repairing we remind ourselves
What becomes of this after all this falls down
We're wide awake this time
And we embrace this new clear mind
Repairing we remind ourselves
What becomes of this after all this falls down
And that piece of you
That whispering keeps telling you to stay
As we drift further from that place
We begin to see what could have been
What's better left behind
And I hoped I'd see you there
We're wide awake this time
And we embrace this new clear mind
Repairing we remind ourselves
What becomes of this after all this falls down
We're wide awake this time
And we embrace this new clear mind
Repairing we remind ourselves
What becomes of this after all this falls down
Every single member of this band is incredibly skilled in their own right, but I love how much they accentuate each other's talents into these masterful tracks. The whole album is excellent. I'm so happy they were finally able to come to my home state and perform.
Incredible band, can't wait to listen to what comes next. quantumquail
Incredible prog-metal! Wow, these guys are the real deal! Part Dream Theater, part Haken, hell even part Genesis (okay, maybe that's just me.)
I'm so excited to see the future for this band...a must own for modern prog lovers! whenghostsdreamalone
Masterful production - deep, slow enough and a feast for your headphones. Inspiring arrangements and soul-searching vocal performances from a vast array of styles and voices. It's a mega-album, a world of its own. Up there with all the greats of the symph-prog genre. I just can't have enough of it. I like the balance between drama and calmness - always keeps you on your toes, gasping for more peaks and highs. Bordering on perfection - almost the best thing ever done in the progressive world. The Indonesian act Kekal leaves no genre unturned, colliding black metal with industrial music with melodic post-rock on this stunning LP. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 25, 2023
