Do you ever tire of feeling like you're prone to repeating
Yourself a thousand times?
Reaffirms why you're wearing your feelings
And I forget how I kept my head above water
We're defined by the things we left alone
Reminded of those times we barely know
This side of the story that we're never told
This is the calling card of those who are the free and the fearless
(You know now)
When this river comes to flood the streets prepare to forgive it
And it's times like these you learn to see the good in your common man
And the words of wisdom are gone
And the hope that you had it seems
Lost to the sound
Your life repeats again
We hold on
We hold on
Still finding your feet
Kept from falling by this tension
I know this seems like you've been walking alone
Walking alone into the fray
Devoting your freedom to a different hell
I recall a time we thought we'd never be the same again
This is your test and mine
Reborn to realise, life repeats again
My friend, I've been keeping what's left of this
Making a mess of my redesign
We all fade to time
And rise to meet our end
Descend into a familiar embrace
Paid off
With promises
(With promises)
This predatory state
I've seen them break, when they're afraid
We're not all here for nothing
Recall the day that this all changed for me
This is your test and mine
Reborn to realise, life repeats again
My friend
Every single member of this band is incredibly skilled in their own right, but I love how much they accentuate each other's talents into these masterful tracks. The whole album is excellent. I'm so happy they were finally able to come to my home state and perform.
Incredible band, can't wait to listen to what comes next. quantumquail
Incredible prog-metal! Wow, these guys are the real deal! Part Dream Theater, part Haken, hell even part Genesis (okay, maybe that's just me.)
I'm so excited to see the future for this band...a must own for modern prog lovers! whenghostsdreamalone
Masterful production - deep, slow enough and a feast for your headphones. Inspiring arrangements and soul-searching vocal performances from a vast array of styles and voices. It's a mega-album, a world of its own. Up there with all the greats of the symph-prog genre. I just can't have enough of it. I like the balance between drama and calmness - always keeps you on your toes, gasping for more peaks and highs. Bordering on perfection - almost the best thing ever done in the progressive world. The Indonesian act Kekal leaves no genre unturned, colliding black metal with industrial music with melodic post-rock on this stunning LP. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 25, 2023
